Players invited to our Collegiate Combine for consideration, will be evaluated on their specific football abilities. Each player will be tested on speed, power, agility, strength, athleticism and football ability via skills and position drills.
Players selected at this combine, as determined by the UNGL scouting Department, will automatically qualify for placement in the UNGL 2010 Inaugural Territorial Draft. To be eligible for participation, each player must complete the attached Draft Data Questionnaire and Fax it to the league office at 203-225-6381 or email to minicamp@ungleague.com by December 31, 2009.
Any player that cannot attend the Collegiate Combine must submit a 5-8 minute highlight video along with their current statistical and contact information. Players can upload their videos to Youtube and send a link via email or mail directly to 2179 Benedict Drive, San Leandro, CA 94577. Please visit www.youtube/help for instructions on how to upload videos.
Players that are eligible to be drafted in the first 7 Rounds of any other professional league are prohibited from participation in the UNGL Combine, UNGL Mini-Camp and UNGL Draft.
It is pertinent that all players' statistical and contact information is current including any awards or acknowledgements. All participants must be at least 21 years old. Former players that have exhausted their college eligibility and are no more than five years removed from this years' graduating class, can participate in our final Mini-Camp in Texas. The location for this final Mini-Camp will be announced the week of December 19th.
The UNGL will initially own & operate (8) teams for the inaugural season in Ohio, Florida, Texas, Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina, Louisiana, and Alabama. League play is scheduled to begin in February of 2010. The aim is to expand to (22) teams nationally over the next 3-5 years.
