Beau Gates is 26 years old. He played football in Portland Oregon at Cleveland High School, being a true athlete he played 12 seasons while attending Cleveland in football, basketball and baseball. He was recruited by small colleges in the area and decided to go to a community college to be close to his home and family.

From there Beau has played football at the semi-pro level for 7 years, winning numerous awards. He then would sign on with the Arena team called the Alaska Wild, IFL, in 2007 but was released due to injury. His main goal is to play at the very highest level possible and to use his playing experience to help him grow as a coach when his playing days are done.

Beau loves working with kids! He is a mentor in a big brother program as well as a volunteer coach for youth football in the community. During the winter time he also referees high school basketball. Currently he plays for the semi-pro team, Blackshirts, in the NAFL. He also works in the Sleep Lab at kaiser permanente as a medical assistant.
