About Travis Powell
Travis Powell is an aspiring football player who currently plays for the C.F.A's Carolina Stallions Football team. A graduate of Greensville County HighSchool in 2000, Travis played his senior year on the Offensive and Defensive lines providing both good blocks and great tackles. Travis made the Virginia State University Spring Ball team in the spring of 2001 while attending VSU but was academically ineligible for play in the fall of 2001. In 2003, Travis was picked up by St. Pauls College to fill in at LB on Special Teams and blitz plays during the schools return to football under "Club Ball" rules. Travis could not attend St. Pauls the following year due to coaching changes and lack of funding of the school. Travis has since looked into furthering his career and or education through the love of the game and feels that this is his time to show everyone that he has god given talent that has never had a chance to be seen in hopes that someone will see him in the upcoming future. Travis can and has played all of the Offensive Line positions , Defensive Tackle and Linebacker positions. Quick off the ball, Travis has great speed bursts and pursuit angles and has been known to make devastating tackles.
