[Arizona Football - Ryan Colbert] - Ryan Colbert was a three year varsity player at Westwood High School. He won the teams Defensive Player of the Year award as a sophmore and was also recognized as a member of the Tribune All-State team honorable mention.
Ryan spent a season at Mesa Community College, he now works full time while training and in the gym constantly as he prepares to go back to college or play pro ball. One of his goals is to play college football and get his degree in a sports related field. Another opportunity he would love to do is coach football.
Ryan joined the Rams through his friends who also play for the Tempe Rams, Dave Holley and Domonique Dightmon. They invited Ryan to come check out the team and after seeing it Ryan decided to join and instantly caught the eyes of the coaches with his high energy and ability to make plays.
Outside of football Ryan loves to workout at the gym, four wheeling, quadding, fishing and swimming. His favorite college football team are the Oklahoma Sooners and his favorite pro football team is the Dallas Cowboys. His favorite player is none other then Brian Urlacher of the Chicago Bears.
Ryan is a type of player any team would want at the next level. He has talent, the grades, high energy and a great work ethic. He will do whatever he needs to do to help make your team successful, just ask the Tempe Rams staff:
